Competitive
Our Competitive Private Lessons are purchased in packages and must be paid in advance. As packages are used, sessions will be deducted accordingly. When booking, please ensure you are using a family account with your dancer properly added. All private lessons must be booked under the dancer’s name, not the parent’s to ensure accurate scheduling and tracking. All competitive private lessons follow a structured pathway throughout the season.
At PDE, we aim to provide all dancers who are interested in pursuing an additional routine (solo, duet or trio) the opportunity to do so. To ensure a high-quality and supportive experience, all dancers must follow the required training pathway.
Dancers participating in additional routines are also required to take part in:
- Fever Solo Heat
- Solo Rotation Classes
- Annual mentorship experience
Please sign up for all sessions individually
All Competitive private lessons require a minimum of 12 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 12 hours of your scheduled lesson will still be charged. All bookings must be made under the dancer’s name through a family account. Please ensure your dancer is properly added to your account and that you are booking as the dancer, not the parent. All packages include 12 lessons designed to support dancers through both the creation and upkeep phases of their routine. Additional lessons may be purchased if needed or preferred.
Packages are based on 60 minute sessions. Dancers also have the option to book 15, 30, or 90 minute lessons in addition to their package, depending on their training needs.
Please note that missed lessons will still be deducted from your package as they are a required part of the training process. Any additional lessons needed beyond your package will be booked and paid separately.
Creation Phase (4 Sessions)
These sessions take place during the summer months (June-August) and must be completed prior to September 1st. This is when choreography is created and established.
Upkeep Phase (8 Sessions)
These sessions are scheduled throughout the season in September, October, November, January, February, April, May and June. These lessons are essential for cleaning, refining and progressing the routine.
The final months of April, May and June are especially important as they allow dancers to receive feedback from competitions, continue refining their performance and connect with their choreography to reflect on the season and plan the next steps.
