MINI-DANCE

A magical first step into dance for ages 3–4. In a playful, nurturing drop-off class, little ones explore movement, rhythm, and creativity while building confidence, coordination, and independence. Using elements of Discover Dance, ADAPT, and Acrobatic Arts, we blend fun with strong early technical foundations, laying the groundwork for future training, exams, and even competitive dance at this age level.

*Note: we do start competitive dance at this age level.

Riley discovered her love of dance at the age of five and began competing by nine. She has trained extensively in jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary, developing both versatility and artistry as a performer.

Riley discovered her love of dance at the age of five and began competing by nine. She has trained extensively in jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary, developing strong versatility and artistry as a performer.

She is a certified Jazz Instructor through B.A.T.D. and also holds certifications in RAD Ballet and ADAPT Jazz. Riley is currently training with Intrepid Dance Company to further her development and pursue a professional dance career.

 

Passionate about teaching, Riley is dedicated to sharing her love of dance with her students. She strives to create a positive, supportive environment where dancers feel encouraged to challenge themselves, express their individuality, and celebrate their growth.

Sarah <strong>Nelson</strong>

Sarah Nelson

INSTRUCTOR

Sarah Nelson is a Toronto-based dance artist and educator originally from Vancouver, BC. She holds a BFA in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she trained in ballet, jazz, and modern techniques.

Sarah Nelson

INSTRUCTOR

Sarah Nelson is a Toronto-based dance artist and educator originally from Vancouver, BC. She holds a BFA in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she trained in ballet, jazz, and modern techniques.

Sarah has studied under respected instructors including Kenny Pearl (Graham technique), Kate Hilliard (improvisation), Louis Laberge-Côté (contemporary), and Allen Kaeja (partnering). She is certified in DiscoverDance’s Foundations course and Acrobatic Arts Module One, and is currently working toward ADAPT certification.

Her performance experience includes works by Hanna Kiel, Jera Wolfe, Ben Landsberg, Tori Mehaffey, Roberto Campanella, and Charles Moulton, as well as appearances at ProArte Danza’s summer intensive and Fall for Dance North. She also participated in Juntos Collective’s community outreach in Guatemala (2019) and the Dance Steward Program at dance: made in Canada (2021).

 

Sarah brings care, creativity, and curiosity to her teaching, encouraging students to explore movement and grow with confidence.

Natacha <strong>Aaron</strong>

Natacha Aaron is a dynamic choreographer, performer, and dance educator based in Toronto. She recently completed a national tour across England with the renowned Mapdance company, while earning her Master’s Degree in Performance Dance from the University of Chichester.

Natacha Aaron is a Toronto-based choreographer, performer, and dance educator. She recently completed a national tour across England with Mapdance while earning her Master’s Degree in Performance Dance from the University of Chichester, performing works by leading contemporary choreographers including Ceyda Tanc, Ben Wright, Rhiannon Faith, and Luke Brown.

 

During the tour, she also led workshops and created choreography for colleges and youth companies. With several years of teaching experience, Natacha brings a supportive, high-energy approach and is known for connecting with dancers of all ages while fostering confidence, creativity, and passion.

Kiana <strong>Smith</strong>

Kiana Smith

INSTRUCTOR

Originally from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Kiana is a multidisciplinary performer, educator, and entrepreneur. She has been dancing since the age of three and is trained in ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, jazz, acro, and burlesque.

Kiana Smith

INSTRUCTOR

Originally from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Kiana is a multidisciplinary performer, educator, and entrepreneur. She has been dancing since the age of three and is trained in ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, jazz, acro, and burlesque. She is also a former competitive gymnast and classically trained singer, and a graduate of Randolph Academy’s Musical Theatre program in Toronto.

Known as “Kiki,” she performs with Footnotes Elite and co-founded the all-female hip hop crew House of Hunniez.

Kiana’s performance credits include the A Trip to Unicorn Island world tour with Lilly Singh, Footloose (Just for Laughs), and work alongside artists such as Rihanna, Drake, and Machel Montano. She has also appeared in numerous film and TV productions for Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon, and CBC, including Zombies 3, Work It, and The Next Step.

 

She is also an experienced teacher, choreographer, and adjudicator across Canada and the US, as well as the founder of Save The First Dance and UNITE Showcase.

Ruby <strong>Kawam</strong>

Ruby has been a competitive dancer since the age of 7. She has trained in many different genres such as jazz, ballet, tap, acro, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop.

Ruby has been a competitive dancer since the age of seven, training in a wide range of styles including jazz, ballet, tap, acro, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop.

She is a certified Acro instructor through the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and holds certifications in ballet, jazz, and tap through the B.A.T.D. syllabus.

 

Ruby is currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance with her students and strives to help each dancer grow in confidence, skill, and enjoyment.

Caleigh <strong>Suline</strong>

Caleigh Suline

INSTRUCTOR

Caileigh has been dancing for most of her life, training competitively in ballet, jazz, tap, acro, hip hop, and contemporary dance. She studied at Etobicoke School of the Arts and later trained professionally at London Contemporary Dance School in the U.K. and with Jasmin Vardimon’s Company. Caileigh continues to perform with KasheDance and Black Ops, while sharing her passion for dance through teaching and creating inclusive spaces for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Caleigh Suline

INSTRUCTOR

Caileigh has spent most of her life immersed in dance, developing a strong passion for movement, creativity, and performance from a young age. She trained and competed for over 10 years in ballet, jazz, tap, acro, hip hop, and contemporary dance. While attending Etobicoke School of the Arts as a Dance Major, she discovered a deeper appreciation for modern and contemporary dance, helping shape her artistic voice and love for storytelling through movement.

Caileigh was also a company member with the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre, where she had the opportunity to train with renowned choreographers and tour throughout Ontario. She later earned her undergraduate degree in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School in the U.K., followed by postgraduate training with Jasmin Vardimon’s Company.

 

Today, Caileigh continues to train and perform with the Afro-Caribbean dance company KasheDance and competitive hip hop team Black Ops. Alongside performing, she is deeply passionate about teaching and building inclusive dance spaces. She has spent the past three years teaching with Bust a Move Dance, working with adults with various disabilities, and loves inspiring dancers of all ages to grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
